Prehacked

This blog is a record of my ongoing experiment, building a product while being constrained to daily tasks that take less than half an hour.  I typically do this work while I'm looking after my daughter Zoe - in the early hours of the morning before I go to my day-job, so I often get only ten minutes each day!  I'm hoping that by consistently doing this work every day without fail for long enough, I will eventually build a product you might want to use.

The product I'm building right now is something I think of as a "Mavis Beacon for music".  It's a game that's supposed to teach people to read music.  You sing or play the notes that are displayed on the screen, and a pitch-detection algorithm rates you on how well you're hitting each note.
